I'm just saying if I was a competitor I would sleep better at night knowing I earned my spot the right way and not through a technicality. It's not about what's right or wrong in this case rule wise, but sportsmanship and integrity of earning things the right way. This was a case of both players trying to dodge miya on a technicality so they would have a better chance of getting into code a. Demuslim did earn things the right way, he showed up on time and played the people he was supposed to play and beat them. If the situation was flipped and it was Demuslim the one who showed up late, the admins wouldn't even considering stopping a series that was already being played to get him back in the bracket.

Still, he shows a ton of potential. And great play Tilea! congrats. Agreed. With the right practice and some time, Drunkenboi might go far.

There is no right decision here, just less shitty ones. They should focus on hurting the least amount of people. There is a right decision, and they finally made it (thankfully). MLG and Miya screwed up and it caused Miya to get a match loss. End of story. There is no need to involve other players in the conversation at all. As soon as the first game following the screw-up was played there is no "fixing it." It's done. MLG needed to "own their own mistake" and just apologize/compensate/etc as best they can. There is no rolling back the bracket to fix an hours-old screwup (e.g. Hyun eliminating people after being DQ'd). It's scary to think that had Demu/Moose not threatened to forfeit that MLG would have made a really stupid call.

Pretty messedup situation anyways. I can understand Demuslims anger; still ads a sour taste to the qualification.

Nice to see him doing well, sick stream as well. @Waxangel, I hope these scurrilous rumours about you not liking HerO as a player are malicious lies!

R1CH is also complaining that Gennia and TB aren't fighting for their players on twitter. The TL staff seems to love witch hints lately and making sure all dirty laundry is aired in public.

Moose and Demu both got pretty lucky(admittedly I still think Demu would've crushed Miya) and taking the luck away just isn't the same as screwing over a player and not giving him a fair shot. I agree that there is just shitty decisions, but you shouldn't go by just 1 person vs 2.

I would have been angry with demuslim if sasquath had played after dq because he was late too. Now, its fair between known and less known players.
