and i do think he was that guy. there was a period of several months when MVP was considered a massive favorite over EVERYBODY he faced, and almost never disappointed.

Dishwashing aside Flash also beat him 3-1 before at MLG (and he's not what he used to be so naturally he's going to fall to players other than Life from time to time ).
If Bomber didn't collapse to ByuN, he could have been the force to be feared. Mvp was someone you didn't want to meet. He achieved a level of play in comparison to others that was incredible. Innovation might become such a force. He might find out how to improve even more to dominate, but I fear for him. If he doesn't win soon, or if he gets shut down like Bomber was that one time, he might not show the greatness he might be able to achieve. Some losses are unforgettable.
