It's funny because I remember calling Leenock the Korean Hope when he won his first MLG.

he really needs some hard work on his ZvP. That last game was just bad, naniwa was almost all the time ahead in pop

no Jeadong actually plays well until the ultras pop. Even after the unsuccessful ultra attack on the 3rd, Jeadong still has 30 supply lead (120ish to 90ish).

Then he proceeds to make a few SHs
Nani capitalizes on that stupidity by adding archon, collossus, all heavy-hitters, goes up by 20 supply
Nani wins

Pretty dire from JD not bringing transfuse to the ultra attack then going swarm host when nani has 3 coloss already...

Leenock destroyed every other zerg here and went toe to toe with Life in GSL? Did you really think, JD has a higher chance to beat him than Nani?

Yes. I take it you've never watched Proleague before.

I am so sad, because even though I root for Naniwa, his past result vs Leenock makes me think that he is going to be destroyed.

Plus, Leenock is on fire.

Swedish crowd is #1

Sweet games from Naniwa!

France is pretty good too.

My Opinion:

1. Poland
2. France
3. Sweden

polish croud was the most enthusiastic i have ever seen in starcraft. i am thinking of warsawa. no doubt you can see that in other sports as well. french on second cuz 2x iron squid was pretty huge. but perfect location alone is not enough. still dman impressive. sweden right behind with this. they could still become second today if they get their shit together and scream their asses out.

so get it on you swedish supporters! your chance your day!

Well, there was a bit more to it than that, Imagine if Jaedong had not cleared Gumi for him... Anyone want to take a bet that Nani wins against Gumiho

Meh, Naniwa got out of a group consisting of Hyun, Yugioh and MC. I wouldn't say he's had a super easy way here.

I concur. That was pretty impressive, but lady luck has smiled on him since then.

TBH, it was more a case of JD losing the series, than a case of Naniwa winning it. I don't see Leenock playing such a sloppy late game. JD shown that he can be a monster in early and mid game, but his late game is nothing to write home about... yet.

The question is if Naniwa can "pull back" and refocus for Leenock. I imagine the JD series drained a looot of his energy.

Naniwa uncharacteristically humble. He seemed really happy after that win.

Probably because his expectations aren't as high. Like he said new game doesn't know what to expect and he was 0-8 versus JD in the house.

At this point I think his expectations just tend to be very random and volatile. Sometimes he behaves like he's the greatest starcraft player of all times or something, other times he's like "i'm just a kid playing a game who likes to win".

ZvP.

He just crushed a terran code S ro16 player 2-0

JD vZ is a treat, Nani shall be slaughtered and it's a fact. He said himself that he loses to JD all the time in practice, what should we expect from a toss who loses to JD all the time?
