Yeah, I can agree with that. But to be honest I'm not seeing why Bogus is considered top 3 terran... I may be kind of biased, but TaeJa topped his group with wrists pain. Flash got a second place losing against Life. Yoda is on a roll. That's just 3 players I like, there are many more who can compare with Bogus. That's a personal opinion of course.

MVPs play is not based on that multitasking. but if the situation needs it he can multitask like that.

So can you remember or find a game where the situation needed it?


I can think of one, vs stephano at IEM just recently he won the game really easily just by dropping in 3 places at once in the midgame and stephano fell apart.

People don't need all the multitasking to win.
They rely more on starsense and strategy or mindgames.


Look at Savior and Mvp.

I do believe MVP was quite fast in his prime


Players have gotten MUCH faster since MVP's prime.

I've noticed it moreso with MarineKing than anyone else. His speed in game has stayed roughly the same from his early 2012 days but everyone else has caught up or surpassed it.

The KeSPA players especially.

Not that I don't think a fully healthy MVP couldn't keep up with the current top tier but I don't think he'd be as fast. The thing about MVP has never been his pure mechanics, it's been his wonderful strategic mind.

Him and Nestea, it's one thing I'll never stop loving about them. They have the ability to just out think their opponents which is something I admire so heavily in SC2 which so often comes down to just whoever has the best mechanics. It's a wonderful breath of fresh air when someone just wins because they were smarter or more clever. That's why I'll forever be a huge MVP fan.


A lot of old fans insist that games that can be won by pure mechanics are better

And I will always, always disagree

Strategy should always be more important than mechanics. And that is why Mvp and Nestea are so important to SC2.

Search for yourself. There are people mechanically better, doesn't mean MVP isn't insane. Koenigsegg CCXR beats most insanely fast cars, are they slow because of that?

So in other words when I say mvp is overhyped because people make out like hes the absolute best at everything and didn't drop a game in 2011 etc I'm right? I never said he was bad, and I never said he wasn't the most accomplished. I just said he never really wowed people with mechanical ability and hes overhyped because people make him out to have.

Im not sure what you define as multitasking. Im guessing you are one of those guys who thinks multitasking is only when you shift click medivacs around the map.

Still kind of random how out of nowhere you say "omg so overyhped, no way near as good at multitasking as MMA" and you were quoting someone who was talking about Mvp getting ghost snipe nerfed.

However yeh, his multitasking and also his macro were misleadingly classed as godly by some people, but he was still good in those areas.

I said that because people were saying this guy had mechanical ability like bogus displayed.
