I think Rain stomps him though, cheese notwithstanding.

Entirely possible, but my point still stands, Gumiho is awesome. Its just that Rain is a little bit more awesome.

Oh Gumiho is absolutely good, no argument from me.

Because these roaches are just not useful.

It's a 3-bases all-in that GuMiho scouted, recognized and hard countered with defensive Tanks while drops wreak havoc in the undefended bases.

He scouted 3 barracks with addons no more to say.

Maybe quantic is not a prime training environment.

How can a foreign team be anything but a terrible training environment? It's a non existent one.

Players like TaeJa seem to be doing just fine training on ladder only.
Albeit, to be honest, I fully expect more regimented practicers to gradually but inevitably take over the ladder-grinders.

Ever since HOTS I haven't been able to get any of these right. I said Hyun and Innovation go through. No only one of them can if either. I used to be good at this crap.

Yeah some players do fine by themselves, I'm just wondering how anyone could think zombie quantic is any more than being teamless for hyun, he probably practices with his ex-TSL buddies from home and plays ladder. he could do the same without a team.

Can't wait to face this kind of push on ladder

I've already been using a similar push on ladder.

Hellion opening and try and force roaches. If they go roaches go for a Marine/Marauder/Helbat/Medivac push which completely annihilates roaches.

Best way to hold it is really just speedling/baneling even if its counter-intuitive.

I was wondering about that as well, as Hellbats are bio, they get demolished by Banelings don't they?

They're Light/Biological/Mechanical.

The Light is what makes the Banelings extra effective not the biological.

The thing is, Helbats are clunky as hell and really hard to split vs Banelings and as long as you can eliminate those, speedlings alone can pretty much handle the rest.

Ah ok thanks. Good to know cuz as Toss I too struggle vs those beefy Mofos what is about as cost efficient as possible to get vs them.

Anything that's good vs MMM is good vs Helbats for the most part. The only thing the Helbats are really good against are Zealots and in some situations Immortals.

Collosus, Archons, and Psionic Storm all deal with them rather easily.

Of course vs Protoss Helbats generally are throwaway units meant to tank for your bioball or Siege Tanks, so the trick is eliminating the Helbats quickly without forcing an engagement vs the main army, sort of similar to how Terrans try to pick off Zealots before engaging in order to get a better shot at killing Collosus.

I tried mass hellbats and hellions vs immortals in monobattles

Failed miserably.

What makes Helbats useful vs Immortals is that they block Immortals from being able to get in range of Thors or Siege Tanks and since the Helbats are light units with a lot of hit points they are not easily dispatched by the Immortals which gives the more expensive units behind them plenty of time to deal their damage.

Yeah true dat and good piece of info - the fact that Immos can't do their massive damage benefits some Terran Mech pushes as well I feel, WCS EU yesterday was testimony to that. Though Ts gained huge leads by killing a shitton of eco early in those instances so no idea how it will turn out if both are on about equal footing.

I still want to organize a KotH with all LR regulars. Winner is allowed to ban someone like in the ABL FPL group ^.^

I didn't think any LR regulars played SC2.

hey I'm masters fuck you

WoL ladder doesn't count these days.

I'd probably be WoL GM now.

I guess I'll just start organizing a tournament via binarybeast or something. We are shit-talking so much already, let's get this going so we can show what we got.
Also: BM, offensive gg-ing and bashing Seeker should be mandatory

Totally in for that. I'm not even terrible at the game, I played around masters level when I still had time. Now I'm happy to get 5 games in a day T_T

only quality posters can play sorry

I just saw that wtf bm

You don't even play the damn game haha

The roach build hyun does where he uses 10 roaches to assault the terran and drones behind it works, but you gotta play safe after droning while attacking. Hyun went apeshit, it seems. Too bad I can't watch anything cause lectures are the shit for this teacher.

Just like in WoL, mech in TvP "works" only when Terran gets a massive economic advantage (either with greed or Probes BBQ, or both) or Protoss is clueless about how to deal with mech.

yeah the little I've seen of HyuN in HoTS hasn't been great + he's not in the best team situation for practice. I pretty much had him going out with Bogus and Rain advancing thinking that GuMiho could mess it up but he's the underdog
