Wow Krass just said in the interview that he took a two month break in January - February and that he really only trained intensively for the last two weeks...

Come on, why can't we have official interviews with the qualificants? What is the interview squad of TL doing?

round of 32 distribution was: 13 zergs 12 protoss 7 terran
i think round of 2 isnt really a big enough sample size.+
but i think hellbat medivac boost is imba vs marine-tank or bio.

Seriously this must be why I hear most complaining at lower levels of SC2, Terran seems quite dominant unless you can get a really really good player then for some odd inexplicable reason it does a polar shift, in Code S KR there are a majority Zerg now! So this is getting pretty bizarre. Is normally in an expansion. Z erg/protss has to learn all the timings and openings the Terran can do. That is why you hear players like Stephano saying its just a l2p issue. Give it time. I do however think the hellbats remind me very much about the pre nerf blue flame helions and maybe blizzard should look into that Show nested quote +On April 17 2013 08:02 Shellshock1122 wrote: lol i just watched PandaTank vs Verdi. Shit was hilarious Yeps best match of the day hehe Indeed, terran is so versatile compared to the other races that it sadly takes a while for the dust to settle. Still think they should add blue flame for hellbats again, but lower the initial dmg, so blue flame hellbats come out the same as they are currently.
Edit: This is ofcourse to just not make dropping hellbats early game so devastating, but keeping drops strong later when people have a chance to deal with it. Still think it might require lower upgrade cost admittedly, actually think both upgrades should be lower, since they should be rather focused on time constraint rather than wasting up the gas.

We have to remember that the best Protoss and Zerg players were already invited while Terrans had to catch up in numbers through the qualifiers.

At least tree.hugger should be happy now with Krass qualifying, maybe he could ask him some questions and brag about his hipsterness. :D

So this is getting pretty bizarre. This has nothing to do with perceived dominance but metagame. In GSL code A qualifier you had only 7 T to 11 P and 12 Z. Simply on foreigner level hellbat drops came back with a vengeance and now terran may be doing a little too good. Or we're looking at a tiny number of random matches and this result could have come about when P or Z is OP instead. At least look at the total win rates and not whoever qualified. I don't doubt that in WoL terran was rubbish at foreigner level and current metagame may sort itself out it time. But if it doesn't we cannot go all the way in the other direction letting WCS Europe become dominated by part-time terran players. It's not like the issues are easy to fix. Hellbat drops are the only thing keeping mech play alive.
