I am attempting to keep the bracket at TLPD as updated as possible with all streams going!

I used to play random, but for you I play very specifically.

30 000+ combined viewers for a EU qualifier on a weekday. Pretty good

NA players are definitely more well-known than EU players, but if you substract the ones who are notoriously known for being bad at the game they are supposed to play at a competitive level, there aren't that many left. (I mean this seriously, because haters also make a player more well-known)

Sigh... gg, Daisy. :'(

I don't think that is true at all... There are maybe a few NA players that are more popular than the EU players. Like everyone knows HuK, IdrA etc. But after the few popular ones there is a gigantic gap in popularity. In the EU it is pretty smooth I feel.

Yeps, the scene has been missing this for sure. Last 2 days have been very exciting for me and alot of fun to watch

European scene is the most pleasant to see imo. Sure it does not have the same level of play than Korea, but everything else is best.

NA has the best characters/personalities

No.

It quite clearly does. There are some Europeans with character like White Ra, Stephano and Naniwa. But most EU players are as faceless as any Korean.

NA have always done a brilliant job at marketing the personalities of their players (especially EG obviously).

I don't want to bash NA, just defend EU. There are tons of players here with great personality! Those you mentioned of course, but also Grubby (!!!), Demuslim, Mana, Dimaga, Thorzain, ToD, Snute, TLO, Ret etc.

Most of those players aren't really interesting except Grubby and Demuslim (who's really NA scene anyway). The ability to speak English doesn't make you interesting by default.

So what makes the USA guys more interesting? I would like to hear your opinion.

Because they have more unique personalities, more players who have strong opinions about the game and share them regularly with fans. They also have more big rivalries (Huk vs Idra, Idra vs Minigun, Demuslim vs Violet) where there's more to the game than just the game itself.

Some EU players have this but they're with Koreans (Stephano vs Polt, Naniwa vs Nestea).

There's too many bland nice guys in EU (Thorzain, Grubby etc..) and not enough guys with a bit of an edge to them.

Well, only 1 korean can qualify today, at most. Top part of the bracket is void of koreans now.

I see, having a USP, making the most noise and release the most hot air. I see where you're coming from and respectfully disagree.

So the interesting people are: 2x Idra, HuK, Minigun, DeMuslim (A European) and Violet (A Korean).

Wow! Really interesting scene man!
