I assume this means that they will forfeit their spots to play in EU/NA.

I think it will be nice for people who aren't able to watch GSL when it's live to be able to watch a bunch of good players play when they can watch. Code S will remain mostly unaffected, and there are plenty of players in Code A who are Code S-quality in my eyes, anyway. They're not right now perhaps, but a majority of them have been regulars of Code S. Maybe things will be fine with the addition of Kespa players, but I'm still far from convinced about Kespa's overall strength. So in a worse case scenario Code S won't feel like the actual WCS that it is. As evidenced by the way Code B/A looked last season, KeSPA and eSF pros have been eliminating themselves and each other and there simply wasn't "enough room" in Code S - last season, I personally would argue that there were at least 8 more players who could have competed on even footing in Code S that got eliminated in Code A, and a few more stuck in Code B. With the addition of KeSPA players on top of all the eSF pros who fight tooth and nail for a Code S spot, the removal of (I count) 4 Code S players and several Code A/S has-beens will not hurt the depth of GSL too much.
Sure. But we could just as well argue that a bigger group of elite players would create a super-tier of Code S and Code A becoming just as good as Code S previously was (which is sort of what happened in the last season).
But let's hope you're right here.

Shees protoss madness with these Qualifiers.

NA will have an all Korea lineup with all those players switching . Europe will also have quite a few depending on how they are able to deal with the significant lag if they aren't moving to Europe that is.
Having the completely same pricepool for 3 regions that aren't even remotely close in skill was probably not the wisest choice .

Hahaha, oh artosis... Got to give him big props for trying though, that he was qualified for these qualifiers means that he is at least masters on the KOR server, right? If so, that is actually incredibly impressive.

Everyone who moved with the exception of Taeja and Hyun are Code A or B, majority are Code B. It's like when players who can't make it in the NBA anymore go to Europe to play. :p

I might be the only one, but I'm actually kinda excited about the Koreans taking part in the EU/NA WCS. It'll be a rocky start, but honestly I think this will be for the best long term. As long as massively more don't switch over.

According to Ethan Ahn (posted in the thread listing all the switches) there is something interesting about the MC/Hyun situation that he would like someone to translate. I'm not fluent enough in Korean to be able to read it myself, but I'm assuming there is either some kind of special deal or some rule that allows MC to switch because he played earlier than X date (I'm pulling ideas out of my ass here), or MC didn't understand the rules.
But yes, that'd what it looks like.

NA will always be CodeB or even worse.

I agree... You KNOW a lot of the guys in the Up/downs usually could have been code S if it wasn't for the insane surplus of godly players...
