Oz, aLive and Jaedong will definitely carry the team, but I think coach Park realizes this and fields at least two of them in the first four games.

With just these three players to rely on for relatively consistent wins I don't think EG-TL will be winning a lot, and when they do it will probably be with Ace matches featuring one of the three.

is there anything unreasonable about my assumption? why are you so quick to dismiss this idea? what do you make of the fact that egtl pays what i'm assuming a considerable sum of money to get him on their team?

My God do I have to write a list?

- Oz, aLive (the two new veterans guys) picked up wins
- JD beat Aria who isn't good against zerg (0-2 in PL) and then won zvz (surprise, surprise arguably his strongest match-up in WoL)
- HotS just launched
- Over the last two weeks I've seen guys streaming more rather than less (actually don't care about the off-race thing because I think it's practical that you get to familiarize with the other races; however, it's very situational so it's a con and a pro)

Need I say more?

and coach park isn't even on your list. why is this?

I gave a few of the other variables in play. *eye roll*

so you're saying coach park is a factor but not the dominant one?

and i don't get your last item. what does streaming have to do with the team winning today? does this have anything to do with coach park? lol

Not much has changed guys. Always helps when you have more veterans on the team and they now have options when it comes to JD, JYP, HerO, TaeJa, Oz, aLive and Revival; whereas, prior you didn't really have any options when it came to the selection. Prior you might have went down the TaeJa, JD, Hero, Revival and JYP line derp.

Overlap duh.

This one isn't so much an issue because the game just re-launched. This type of style only works for certain players hence it's a pro and a con because there were no games you saw these players streaming a shit ton more and I've always been against the notion of livestreaming a stupid amount but because the game is brand new again I let it slide because everything changes.

The point is you guys really need to stop when it comes to jumping on the gun of such trivial things. Park wasn't a martyr and coach Park is no savior. A win is a win and they'll take it.

I'm afraid none of the other players on the roster are anywhere near the skill of Oz, aLive and Jaedong though, possibly with the exception of TaeJa (injured). And I think Jaedong may not be at the level of Oz and aLive in anything but ZvZ.

All the sudden JYP and HerO are no where near the skill level of guys who have been relatively mediocre in WoL? What? You guys have some pretty warped minds of some players. I've had to back JYP for way too long when he was the best Korean EG player dating back to the GSTL. Wow.

Wohooo just woke up and watched the whole thing, go Jaedong and EG-TL, I knew it was a bargain in FPL for 1 point with oz, alive and coach park now . Also pls give us those team decals in the ladder blizzard!
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

I`d say skillwise from seen so far on HotS

1) TaeJa
2) aLive
3) Oz / JD
5) HerO

TaeJa still for crucial Ace games against guys like Flash or Rain, any day...

never doubted EG-TL for a second. Two more strong pickups and we have this season in the bag easy.

I'm not the one jumping the gun by saying this win had everything to do with Coach Park being EG's savior you derp. I've clearly shown a more logical approach by explaining a few things you simply choose to ignore, but you know what? That's on you and not me.

I'd like to take this time to address injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome considering we're seeing more and more cases of this. It's unfortunate yes, but the older players are always at high risk. That's why I encourage them to do wrist stretches every several hours to remain limber. Just another reason to recruit so young. o;

Jaedong's ZvP almost ruined it, but in the end my FPL team is very happy. HotS ZvZ is still fucking stupid, but if it helps increase JD's win rate then I'll allow it.

ZvZ was his strongest match-up in WoL though man and he didn't really rely on infestors to do it. His ling/baneling play was good.

gogo starstruck..

Happy to see eg/tl win, i really hope they can pull through.
I liked how alive looked quite strong. He seemed to have gotten some help from zero, but he played quite well himself, imo.

I'm never going to hear the end of this.

is there anything unreasonable about my assumption? why are you so quick to dismiss this idea? what do you make of the fact that egtl pays what i'm assuming a considerable sum of money to get him on their team?

*eye roll*

so you're saying coach park is a factor but not the dominant one?

and i don't get your last item. what does streaming have to do with the team winning today? does this have anything to do with coach park? lol

A win is a win and they'll take it.

so, in other words, you're saying your opinions are better than mine. you believe they are opinions, correct?

and i don't need to do anything just cause you said so lolol.

typical.

I'm not the one jumping the gun by saying this win had everything to do with Coach Park being EG's savior you derp. I've clearly shown a more logical approach by explaining a few things you simply choose to ignore, but you know what? That's on you and not me.

I'd like to take this time to address injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome considering we're seeing more and more cases of this. It's unfortunate yes, but the older players are always at high risk. That's why I encourage them to do wrist stretches every several hours to remain limber. Just another reason to recruit so young. o;

You must hate football

Haha. Truth be told, I don't watch a lot of NFL/CFL or European football. The Toronto FC still suck. I've always paid very close attention to detail regardless of the sport.
