MC decided to pull all probes to defend natural instead. He could've just built pylon and mass more probes at main. Easy cannon up.
It leads into him losing probes until the cannon is done, then his natural is gone and he's contained to his main while Zerg has more drones and double queen.
Which is still better than what ended up happening to MC that game

That doesn't matter... The forge (or any building) will complete even if not powered. It will still give you the tech it provides, in that case, the cannons.
