The usual: Don't flame casters or players. Don't discuss balance in this or any LR thread. Don't call your fellow posters idiots. Be excited, happy and entertained. |

I hope they adopt a wait and see philosophy like they did with Infestor and Queen buff.

Racewise its so stack it just isn't fair. But skillwise, this is a great MLG to watch
This really can't be pointed out enough -- I feel like this is a constant problem for MLG, it always has the top terrans and like 1 or 2 good players form the other races (well at least they used to have that problem this is the first MLG i've watched in about 9 months).

I'm confident the Zergs will find a way eventually, but this series was brutal. Maybe the reason is Leenock is just not good enough, Life probably can do better. Oh boy here it comes.
Prepare for another "Terran are just better players thread" soon.

Okay, I'm alright now with Thorzain spoiling my clean prediction record, just get me Jjakji vs Rain in there.

Racewise its so stack it just isn't fair. But skillwise, this is a great MLG to watch Protoss seemed well represented, at least initially. ? Bear in mind Seed, Hero, got knocked out. Parting/MC/Rain are still in the tournament. Zerg, Leenock and Life are pretty two of the top Zergs no? Sure it would be nice to have Hyun in the mix as well, but Zerg doesn't seem to be doing well in HOTS, hence all the balance whining. That's coz a few top Zergs were busy prepping for a certain WoL finals

Funny the effects of previous terran nerfs weeded out the weak ones. So now when the game is more balanced these Korean terrans are destroying everyone. Terrans are so op again that foreigners can't win with them still. lol

Racewise its so stack it just isn't fair. But skillwise, this is a great MLG to watch There is a reason they are not here. They got slaughtered by Terrans in the qualifiers. Because they were busy winning in wol tourneys instead of practicing HotS, and oh the same shit doesn't work anymore on this game.
Leenock was said to be very bad at HotS in the clanwar vs Prime because he got no practice on it.

I really think they should stop making mines hit air... Then mutalisk can actually herras again with less risk. As it is now zerg can't herras at all because it's too risky while terran has NO RISK at all with their drops

If that's great play, I feel that the game was soured by zerg skill in WoL. The key word is static. Terran can drop and kill drones, hatchery or tech. Build static defenses to defend all three and you won't have any units. Because of medivac boost, placing spores in the path of medivacs is totally useless. They can just run away and go drop somewhere else. This ability is fun to watch, but it'll be hard to balance obviously... Scourge-like units could be a good fix.
Scourge would break all ZvT and ZvP, probably.

Racewise its so stack it just isn't fair. But skillwise, this is a great MLG to watch You you realize that Life and Leenock is in the top 4 Zerg at least. Stephano is a foreigner zerg that haven't adjusted well against koreans right now and certainly not HOTS. 2 of the top 4 Zergs vs 8 of the top 10 Terrans, gee I wonder why Zerg isnt doing better this tourney. TB's point stands. It doesn't, all the best Zergs but Life and Leenock lost in qualifiers Life and Leenock are only at MLG because they placed in the Top 4 at MLG Fall Championship - they did not participate in the qualifiers. QUalifiers played on a patch with way different balance though.

Flash made mines in that game, and in the first couple of games against Bly, but he still plays bio tank. He uses mines just for support, doesn't make a lot. It's different from the bio/mine style that I'm talking about.
