Curious has always been really good. He just cant seem to put it together in the Code S booth for some reason. If you watch him in Code A, he's a dominating player.

As the preview article stated, both wins today were really important for each respective Zerg. I'm really happy for Symbol in particular, as I feel like his RO8 ceiling was the most tragic. I also remember after the Wild Card matches he was very thankful for making it back into Code S, stating that it meant so much to him to have requalified.
I was also thinking about something Artosis said during a recent SoTG while I was watching Parting v. Curious: he was saying, I believe in reference to MajOr going to T8, that the KeSPA teams standard procedure is to break a new player down, then build them up again as a "mechanical monster" before allowing them to play. Obviously this didn't happen with Parting, as he's currently playing soon after his team switch, but I do wonder if the new training regimen is affecting his play a bit. We'll see. That said, I think team Startale was obviously too strong for Parting to deal with, and Curious definitely deserved to win. Excited for the rest of the RO8!

lol i havnt watched a sc2 tournament or finals since mvp-squirtle....sc2 viewership has been dropping heavily since about that time. game is just flat out BORING right now

He's right though, it is boring with the exception of a few good games every once in a while. The days of mid-late 2011 where I could open up any stream or tournament VOD and enjoy all of it are long gone.

What caused you to get so heated? Some people like watching for the possible entertainment, high level games, and maybe to see their favorite casters or players. Doesn't mean the games themselves are always interesting. MVP vs. Nestea at Blizzcon was a terrible series, but I loved it because of who was playing and the venue/audience.
