Artosis mentioned something about swarmy mass raxx style builds in Brood War. A few season ago, MVP went for a 5 rax into 7 rax build vs Parting. Bogus did the same thing - attack fast, upgrade steadily, expand slowly and trade well. Stephano GG

How long it took him is irrelevant. He still did it.

lol... just admit Bogus is more skilled than Stephano.

They were a good match for each other. I dont want to jump to any conclusions about who's more skilled by just one series.

Innovation made the Semis last season and beat a lot of top Zergs to get there. he's definitely quality.

But Stephano stuck right there with him and in the same night also outclassed Hack. He's a top Zerg even if his haters don't want to admit it. He got put in a tough group and barely didnt make it out. No harm in that, better players than him have said the same thing. Code S is tough and Stephano just learned that firsthand.

Are you serious dude? Bogus is so much better than Stephano. He actually has a chance to win the GSL for starters.

no

Naniwa also got 2-0ed like 3 times by randoms in code a before he had success in code s.

Well, 2 times it was FXOLucky who was pretty good vs P at that time.

All groups are tough in Code S. 8 zergs made out of their tough groups. Stephano didn't.

Wasn't Naniwa like 0-10 in Code A before the season he got into Round of 8?

So? He improved. No one is born a champion.

Love how harsh people are on Stephano and compare him to other foreigners who went into the GSL. Do you remember how many times they participated in the GSL? This is Stephano's first time, PLUS SC2 is a lot higher level now than it was then.

To be honest he always has been in my book. The only thing that can top him was him casting together with DoA. You could tell that they are really good friends who enjoy what they're doing.

They played 2 late games today, one win by Bogus, one win by Stephano, they are pretty even in late games. But other games are all early to mid games, Bogus won all of them. Stephano just doesn't have the perfect attention to details to beat the best in early games. So, Bogus is the better player.

artosis is best imo

wolf >> tasteless tho

I would really like to see wolf and artosis together. I love the analytical style of both. One issue I can see is one would try to talk over the other because they both have so much to say.

As for tonight, what made wolf's commentary really impressive was that he talked a lot even during the slow parts of the match, but he wasn't just saying inane observations or empty comments. He was making some good insights and his reasoning behind the player's actions were spot-on usually. That's really hard to do on your own without someone to have a dialogue with in case you run out of steam or things to say. Props to wolf.
