Well, after the 1st session yesterday (1/4 of the brackets played). Someone mention that 1/2 - 1/3 of the 'good' Kespa players were out already. So I think there is some 'bias' as to which players are 'good'. If a lot of your favorites are playing in the same session, you tend to think that is the 'hardest' one since most people 'overvalue' their favorites.

Seriously though, this isn't news - Terran hasn't been nearly as dominant for a long time.

very impressive showing from SKT I think except for Paralyze who got knock out by the king of code A every SKT players get to the final of their bracket. Hope this will translate well into Pro League result

The meta game is just not terran friendly at the moment. 2011 was so dominate for terran that they got a lot of nerfs (not just the units/spells themselves but maps as well. Also, players have gotten a lot better that one of the main advantages of terrans (drops, multi pronge attacks) just aren't as good anymore. Players like MMA didn't just forget how to drop overnight. But drops overall just don't do as much damage due to better defense.
The meta is more about 200/200 now and T3 terran units have always been terrible. Again, the units themselves aren't bad but transitions are so hard to do. Again, the reason T3 was weak was because marines were so flexible and strong. But in the current meta, marines just don't cut it anymore.
The balance patches seemed to have been balanced assuming perfect terran micro. If you have zerg landing 'sick' fungals or protoss landing 'perfect' FFs, they usually gain a big advantage. But when you see terran with great 'splits', the engagement is usually only a draw/trade. There is just a lot less room for making errors as terran right now.

YugiOh 2-1 MyuNgSik. The King of Code A is back.
And that's it for this Code A qualifiers!
Qualified in the day 2 afternoon session: EffOrt (CJ) soO (SKT) Crazy-Hydra (KT) Avenge (ST) Maru (Prime) YugiOh (Root)

And from his stream, his ZvP is pretty damn good... Plus he IS THE KING OF CODE A
EDIT! Fuck yeah, the king is ready to sit back on his throne

Well, the win rate has been dropping to 3X% for TvZs. And with the large number of zergs, terrans just get knocked out. When you start losing, you go from Code S to Code A to Code B.
