LG-IM First just qualified for IEM, for any First/IM fans here. His first foreign tournament since MLG I think.

NesTea wanted Fantasy to advance. that's the reason. Oh, and let him have fun what the hell. this is entertaining. And his muta control is always great, atleast.

According to Artosis, this is why he lost.

tig editor just tweeted it

Fnatic players have moved out of the team house in Korea. It is now up for sale and all the supplies in the team house will be going to other sc2 teams.

thanks, so I'll take this as they are done with GSTL and investing in korea sc2 in general.

Oh wow, so that rumour of another Korean SC2 team about to die....was in fact Fnatic?

Er...probably TSL

no, TSL disbanded already but there was a rumour that another team was going to disband

Pretty sure it was just before, might be another rumor. Fnatic seemed like it was going no where for ages :/

Must be EG, I heard they were low on cash these days...

Fnatic seems more likely though with Alive having already left...

Sorry to say to all NesTea fans, but NesTea is a terrible player if you talk about progamers. He has no progress at all in his match up, no variety. He has only his ling/bane/muta style which is actually exactly what a good Terran would want to face. If FantaSy would be not as sloppy as he was, he would have won easily.

I don't understand why NesTea doesn't switch up his game. He has great mechanics, but other than that.... I cannot understand his decision to go muta/ling/bane which is basically dead against a well playing Terran. The position where FantaSy lost everything could have already been game over if he did set up his tanks and marines in a correct way.

He's fun to watch, does his thing, and still stays in GSL. Btw, consider a name change. That anime is horrible.

sarcasm?

No. He has very good injects, otherwise his style would not be scary AT ALL, but it still is. You can see it when he always throws a billion banelings and still has a billion left over at home. His flanks are not bad at all but his decisions... are ... argueable. About his broodlords, I don't count that towards micro, but decision making. 9 broodlords and 3 infestors can be microd by god himself and he would not beat down 70 3-3 marines and vikings.

dunno, lots of bw guys understand mechanics as macroing

a guy with unit control like nestea doesnt have great mechanics imo, you can click fast all you want if your clicks are meaningless or wrong its not great mechanics imho

Bro I don't think there's any Terran who can currently do that. At the moment the Terran race needs a hero, with Mvp's wrists imploding and TaeJa slipping out of his form etc. :/

Nestea went for an extended midgame, and caught Fantasy in a bad position. Fantasy's marine/tank push made a lot of sense if you assume Nestea is transitioning to lategame, but he wasn't; he was still on ling/bane/muta.

That meant he could punish Fantasy. But it also meant he had no Infestors when he got Broods.
My strategy is to fork people.

Injects are only a part of mechanics as a whole. Afaik, Nestea was never a factor in BW because he had bad mechanics.
