It has sparkles a lot of interest for a mediocre league (in term of fanterest and playing level). I wonder what would be the public's answer to a foreign proleague. you mean like IPL's team league (winner's league format), or EG's masters cup (proleague format)? Mediocre response. maybe if they had an FPL for it too :p

IPTL premier gets good viewership, especially for online with replays.
for EG vs Prime it was like x2 what Proleague has right now

It was THE War3 competition to win for most teams.

There's so many troubles with these on-line leagues Teams forfeit matches, don't have enough players, play with sub-par line-up because the main players couldn't play...
PL mitigates a lot of that

Free beat two out of two Zergs this season of Proleague. They were Alone and Zenio.

Confession: I haven't watched it since last spring (april-ish). it just hasn't been on at a good time for me.

Well we are doing it from round to round. I wish we would extend it though but it's tricky with round 2 being winners league. We do need longer periods for the FPL though or else it's too short even with every team playing two matches a week.

off topic, does anyone know the song used in the intro?

SPL leading the way with new and interesting map pools with lots of care to patching obvious imbalances in a timely fashion.
Other tournaments (pretty much every single one) need to follow their example!

The next two rounds are both a return to the proleague format, so I wonder if we'll perhaps see a 2-round FPL?
