It had ace match written all over it. Well if Puma hadn't thrown the game and won, EGTL would have won no? ![]()

It had ace match written all over it. If Puma didn't throw the previous game, EGTL would have won right there, without an ace match. That was the point.

JYP known for his vZ and JD fucking awful vs protoss, he still cant handle immortal sentry allin.

That kind of push is actually pretty strong against a FE and works a lot of the time. His micro was subpar with his Zealots stuck behind an Immortal that got focused down instantly. With better control and not wasting that warp in on the Zealots on the high ground he could have possibly won that.

But I feel that neither player gets a blame in PvP. Unless they played utterly terrible, which JYP wasn't that bad this time, I think he just needs a "good luck next time"-pat in the back. EGTL just doesn't do well with Ace matches, I guess ![]() I think Jaedong hit the nail on the head when he mentioned that they (EG-TL) were the new kids on the block. Besides Jaedong, the others don't really have much experience. You have PuMa who played a few and that's basically it.

I would argue that he actually got a more favourable build to face off against because of the cancel. I think JYP pretty much knew it wasn't blink stalkers when it didn't hit at a certain timing. He probably figured out he got duped and shy had expanded putting him way behind. All he could do at that point was to try to all in.

JYP can play damn well, he just needs to adjust to the tournament setting, focus on keeping a clear mind to ensure that his early attacks are clean and efficient. Good showing by EG-Liquid, Proleague is far from over, so I have high hopes! EG-TL fighting! JYP has had bad performances for the longest time.. I can hardly remember the last time he played a really good game against a good opponent. I get that coach would want to field him to give him experience, but right now he's pretty much a rookie. You don't send rookies as ACE unless you got something very special going on. Just by experience, even with that terrible map and with how he's performing vs P, even JD would have been a better choice. Personally, I would have chosen HerO, he looked extremely confident, and that plays a huge part on PL matches, particularly on ACE matches.

I'm pretty sure his robo bay was almost done before any observers were in Shy's base.
