How can someone compare results of MKP to DRG? MKP is a total pushover now. And even just compare their peak, DRG is far better.

It was really just between those two guys. Maybe in DRG doesn't make it through the up/downs somehow it would still be hard to call since Mvp did beat two solid protoss players to make it back into Code S. Today was just not his day for some reason =/ Leenock can take it with a blizzcup win imo

But still think Mvp and DongRaeGu both have been among the best over longest periods of time this year, which imo is the deciding factor. One would really love to fit for example Life there as well, just because he had such recent success. Well, if you bring Life in. Will need to include Rain, PartinG as well. And Leenock if he gets to finals of this tournament.

Lol MKP who made 2 ro8's recently is a complete pushover compared to someone who aside from today, has been awful even though his race was ridiculous Makes sense!

MKP is always a total pushover, even in the days when he got silver. He can't take a punch from anyone.

It's hard to call him " player of the year " To be fair, which player has been consistently on top in 2012? The top end is just so stacked right now. You could make arguements for Mvp, Leenock, Taeja, MKP, Rain, PartinG, Life as being the top player in the world at one point during this year.
