He sadly must have thought this would have happened:

IMO is was more of a coaching botch. Protoss is heavily favoured on that map on both non mirrors, there's absolutely no reason to play a zerg there unless he's a map specialist. Pretty weird decision there

It's a bit early to tell. Zenio's not all that great of a zerg imo. He hasn't put up good results in a long time (his performance at IEM was nice, but could be better). JYP basically is more of a PvZ'er, his PvP was coinflipped and Wooki took advantage of having the 3rd gate earlier. That aggression paid off. Thorzain, idk. His history with Action is now 0-3. Although he's probably not faring all that well with jetlag, and being in Korea in less than a week. I think over time he will do better in proleague, but idk if he'd be a staple for the team as a regular. Jaedong couldn't handle that immortal sentry all-in too well. He had the knowledge, but the FF's and bad engagement areas made it really horrid for him. I think if he really practices on defending those, he'll be set for ZvP.
It's only the first game of the season, time will tell how the Unholy Alliance will truly fare, especially since their 3 strongest players aren't there. Even so, I didn't expect a shut out of 4-0. I was expecting JYP to possibly get a win and Jaedong. Huk may have lost, and Puma who I haven't seen in awhile I'd feel be 50-50.
I hope TLO somehow gets into proleague and does some crazy nydus play though.
the fact that taeja hero stephano is an international tournament material shouldn't make you hope they'd show up regularly this is basically the most common line up we'll gonna see
I don't know about you guys, but I'll give ThorZaiN another chance. He just reached Korea - once he settles in the Lab and reaches his level + works together with Coach Park, he'll be a monster. Just wait.
Positives: SC2 Proleague is here!! Monte Cristo/Doa casting combo is legit. Wake-up call for current EG-TL lineup to focus/practice harder in the future. Confirmation that we need Hero/Taeja/Stephano as much as we thought. Long season means plenty of time for improvement.
Negatives: Horrifying roflstomp is bad for team and fan moral.
Way more positives than negatives here. There's still a lot to look forward to in EG-TL's next match.
for the record people calling egtl as the new airforce ace . It actually isn't true because historically speaking KT Rolster always some how finds it self losing to ace all the time (well almost).

Yeah if I was EG-TL I'd try to front load the next several games with the players with the highest chance of winning. Last thing you want is a streak of getting 4-0'd or 4-1'd. If you take the first 2 and then lose out at least you got those 2 wins for the fans. It'll be interesting how they decide to play it.

One match, but it was 4-0
They missed their best three players and they put a Zerg on Ohana.
Even if they totally suck (could happen), T8 is probably still going to suck more except if Ryul2, Speed and Haruhi are the reincarnations of Mvp, MC and Nestea.
