When did the shift from the Life overhype move to Leenock?
I consider Leenock to be a guy that has longevity plus a big gap between his peak play and his lowest play. He's kind of weird because he's been around for ages, is always decent at worst, looking like the best player in the world at other times but hasn't yet won a GSL. He's really weird lol in terms of categorising, he's not a stylistic player like an MC who would fall off if the style is worked out (like MC in slump mode) nor is he a guy like Violet (IMO) whose consistency is based on rarely playing badly, but without as high a peak that he can hit.
Neither is he a choker, he won MLG Providence which was massive.
It's do strange that he hasn't won a GSL in all this time, he ticks every box! One of those inexplicable travesties of cosmic justice is all I can put it down to!

As a Leenock fan, GSL gets really frustrating to watch haha.
The last couple of losses in GSL have been well below his skill. I mean, not taking anything away from Sniper or Taeja, but Leenock played subpar in both of those Ro8 series. Especially the Taeja one hurt to watch for the most part.
Not that I think he's a choker, but he does still make quite obvious mistakes. A year ago he used to make even more...and his ZvP a year ago *shudders*
