I've always preferred playing Random (albeit Toss slightly more perhaps) to experience everything evenly, and gone in with the mindset that the game is never imbalanced, it's always the players' fault, not the game. If balance issues are hindering entertainment, that's one reason (also why 1/1/1 is the only build I've ever spoken out against), but other than that, from a spectator's point of view, I just think (racial) bias is terrible for yourself, cheering for specific players is probably a good thing though as it actually makes it interesting without causing rage (although perhaps grief on rare occasions).
