I'm hoping for a Terran winner, but I don't think Polt or Bomber are good enough.

Go Go Hero. Kill 'em Zergs.+ Show Spoiler +
Except DRG, I'm okay with DRG. Cuz he's got self respect

Of the remaining players:

GSL finals:

Hyun vs Sniper (ZvZ)

IPL Winner's bracket:
Violet (Z)
Polt (T)
Leenock (Z)

IPL Loser's bracket:
Symbol (Z)
Hero (P)
Sniper (Z)
Creator (P)
Sleep (Z)
Bboong (Z)
TheStC (T)
DRG (Z)
Bomber (T)

So, the final tally of players is (9Z|2P|3T). This will be a great opportunity for young and upcoming zergs to have a masterclass in ZvZ.

The race I least want to see in any matchup

Am I the only one who's literally forcing myself to stay unbiased?
I've always preferred playing Random (albeit Toss slightly more perhaps) to experience everything evenly, and gone in with the mindset that the game is never imbalanced, it's always the players' fault, not the game. I don't care if it's true or not, but all I care about is the viewing experience, and it just sounds so abysmal reading so many angry comments about balance all the time, I couldn't care less tbh, all I want is entertaining games. If balance issues are hindering entertainment, that's one reason (also why 1/1/1 is the only build I've ever spoken out against), but other than that, from a spectator's point of view, I just think (racial) bias is terrible for yourself, cheering for specific players is probably a good thing though as it actually makes it interesting without causing rage (although perhaps grief on rare occasions).

I really don't see Leenock losing this unless he intentionally throws it.
But I am hoping for Sleep, Bomber, and Violet to place very well.

I play random myself with Terran being my main/best race and I find it quite silly how the Infestor literally counters everything in every matchup. That is why you see all the balance talk constantly happening and when you play the game, and believe something to be fundamentally broken, it tends to take away from the entertainment aspect because you think the matchup/race/unit is imbalanced. Part of the reason a lot of people are upset is because of the time it is taking Blizzard to fix the problem.

For the matches we know, I think Hero can beat sniper. BBonbong will beat sleep. DRG should win, and I think Polt will win. But personally I am hoping a Terran vs X finals, just because I need some Terran inspiration for my own play.

the statistics are pretty fun to read, thanks for that. dont have much hopes in stc, his tvz seems rather shaky, and bomber is like a wildcard, he can destroy anyone left but well, he can lose vs anyone too, depends what bomber is showing up

Creator might be our greatest hope with his brutal pre-hive timings. Luckily for me I like all of these non-zergs still left.
Hopefully Sniper is not focused on IPL5 and HerO can pull through.

I might add my thoughts on the PvZ matchup (I've stopped playing a long time ago, this is purely from a spectators POV).

Sometimes nice forcefields are very nice to see, but I'm annoyed by the feeling "good forcefields - protoss wins, bad forcefields - protoss looses". It's not that black and white in reality, but it feels slightly silly when so much of the match can be decided by how good one of the player's actions are.

The by far the most common - and most boring - thing to happen is when the zerg is turtling to their broodlord infestor death ball. The protoss can kill them before with a slick timing, sometimes, but otherwise we'll probably have one engagement which will decide the 20+ min match. The really horrible thing is that it can be summarized: good vortex, protoss wins, bad vortex the protoss looses. One spell or one engagement deciding a match like that is the worst thing ever.

It's not even about the balance, ZvP could have a 50% winrate but the matchup as it is now would still be fricking boring.

Edit: N/m, found it.

Also, gogo Creator.
