Vortix is a patch-zerg the same way life, symbol & hyun are patch-zergs: The majority of their results are achieved post-patch. But that doesn't mean that they aren't great players. It's important to remember that very good player != very good opinions Yea Vortix is earning himself a name as a very solid player. When I think "upper tier foreigner," his name comes to mind. I still think he's a half step behind the likes of Nerchio/Scarlett/Stephano, but he's definitely good enough to take some games off top players. Does anyone else find it weird that the worlds top foreigners are pretty well all zerg right now? In no particular order: Stephano Scarlett Nerchio Vortex Sen then below that there's a slew of solid players that have trouble distinguishing themselves from the pack: ```````````` luciferon Major Titan? Huk Nani DeMuslim etc etc

The rest of the remaining Terrans (Alive, Yoda, Bomber/Sculp) look like they'll be out soon though ![]()

My favourite player is Scarlett by a long shot. It's just weird...Zergs are not completely dominating the Korean scene, terran's and protoss are holding their own fairly well for the most part. Maybe zerg has a slight edge lately, but nothing to really worry about... But in the foreign scene it's cut and dry. There's no terran or protoss player who can reliably beat any of those 5 top foreign zergs. I would just think that a few foreign protoss players would manage to master the immortal/sentry all in well enough to take a few of them down a notch or two....or maybe Creator's epic three base timing attack. Or a few terran's figuring them out... My point is if you list the top 5 Koreans, you probably wouldn't name 5 zergs...that's not the case when you apply that to the foreign scene. Cheers, Ramone
