That game bummed me out.
ViOlet's an amazing player - I used to absolutely love watching his play - the constant aggression, the runbys, the way he could turn games around with backstabs.
Watching that game didn't do justice to his ability or to HerO's. It was boring and frustrating to watch (since winning generally requires one player fucking up rather than someone doing something impressive).
This game used to be so much fun to watch as a spectator, it makes me sad to see it constantly reduced to this.

Thats exactly what the problem is.
You have to play very close to perfection to win, even if you are considered to be far ahead in the game, or a superior player. The same problem is also reflected in the Immortal all in, in a different way, and nobody considers either situation to be good for the game, for enjoyment of playing, watching, or for esports

HerO walking his colossi into the vortex was the losing move -- pushed the archons out of the center when the archon expired. Just keep them alive in the back and when the vortex expires the AoE should murder everything. Archons were stuck on the right side and the colossi went down immediately -- gg

I think you're all seriously exaggerating the amount by which Hero was ahead.

Violet played beautifully that game. 90%of PROFESSIONAL Zergs would've lost after Hero killed his Greater Spire. His engagement at his fourth was a work of art!

He needs to transition to carrier/templar, plain and simple. He had the time, but he stayed on stalker/archon. Hero may have largely outplayed Violet, but his endgame strategy was lacking.
