Your vote: Who is the true EG.Puma 2.0?

(Vote): Sting
(Vote): ForGG
(Vote): TheSTC

That's obviously STC since ForGG is doing pretty well and Sting just won a tournament. :>

The EG.Puma of old, of course! The foreign money stealer, master of the 1/1/1!

I guess Sting would fit the description the most, since he's the only one of them who's won a tournament so far.

ForGG has earned a lot more and placed high in multiple, though.

For those who were able to watch, how were the semis between Sting and Vortix? Any epic TvZ action?

With a little time inbetween I think Sting deserved the win more than Grubby did. His overall performance felt more solid than Grubby's. Grubby got through two rounds before the final by the skin of his teeth, but the margins moved a little for the finals and a good run always comes to an end at some point. Anyway, this is really a big step for Grubby though, getting to a major finals, I wonder what his next step will be!

the competition only gets harder and this was the "easiest" tourney for someone of his reputation and hype to take. it's disappointing if you are a fan much more so than say BWC or WCS

nice to see Carmac doing what he promised, and splitting the prizepool. $6,500 is still a very nice amount for a weekend's work, and even the Filipino and Singaporean players who placed 24th got a minimum of $600, which is awesome for esports, and for those players who dedicate so much time to the game but never get anything in return because the prizepurse is always top heavy. well done IEM! (and IEM prize money usually gets paid out quickly, since Intel pays it out afaik)

Amazing that Sting won. He is just a B-teamer in NSHoseO (or is he in a foreign team now? Don't remember) but he is capable of barely beating the top foreigners!
Gratz.

Don't judge if you are not informed. He is on Western Wolves now.
He was in the TSL semifinals and has beaten a lot of top koreans as well.

Just woke up to see Grubby lost in the final by one map - heartbroken for him.

Really well done though Grubby, your first SC2 major championship will come!
