As the caster, I am simply relaying info about the event that has been provided to me from Zowie - I can ask for some more details and have a hunt around for more if you wish!
Excited for this! I am a huge fan of Aphrodite, but I am interested in seeing how Miss plays. I haven't seen much of her sadly. Looking forward to some good games!

lol, it's not like I'm angry at you for posting information, I'm just stating the obvious in that none of these events have any information about them except the little bit that some people decide to share. The organization needs to provide some information if they want people to follow them..
Right now, either you watch the matches or you never know who played or who won.

You do realize that there's only 200 spots per region for GM, right? Many pros aren't GMs because they just don't spend that much time on the ladder...

wanna co-cast on skype? I'm relatively famliar with the material, I have a TW/KR account, I speak Chinese, and I'm already a caster for the Asia Starcraft League.
Blarg. Felt like we didn't see anywhere near Miss' best play. Aphrodite played well, don't get me wrong, and she definitely deserved to win. But...idk, some of the ways Miss was playing seemed..just really nervous. That last game T.T
Still, really enjoyed the cast. :D Good work, as usual, Pughy and Madals!
Honestly, our predictions (myself and members of the Taiwanese Rush clan) leaned a lot towards Miss.
She fell apart, we think it was because she was simply too nervous to concentrate. If she had won, it would have meant a lot for her in terms of reputation. Beating aphrodite... who else could do it?

I played Miss a while back on TWKR and I didn't think she was quite yet at Aphrodite's level to be honest, she is good, but just not there yet IMO.
Right after IEM was done I watched the VODs. Looking at the Taiwanese one where you could see the player cam while listening to the English casting VOD. I like those interviews and now it's pretty clear why it ended with 4-1. Aphrodite said that TvP is her best matchup while Miss said it's her worst.

Hopefully they will practice together more.
The final game was an exception though... Just a bad engagement, you could tell Miss's nerve's were getting racked... I think if the game had continued, she wouldn't have moved out. She was just entirely too nervous. One point in the game, miss had a 30 supply lead.
Very happy with how this turned out. I enjoyed watching it. Feel bad that MisS wasn't able to make it closer, because I know she is capable. Happy that Aphrodite won though Both great players!

Aphrodite is KR GM lol. Around rank 100. She also peaked top16 on NA GM a few seasons ago.
The casters said more than once that Aphrodite is top Masters, not GM.
On the Russian stream the caster checked the account that aphrodite was playing on (it was aphrodite in korean, can't type korean on ipad) was gm. Also if you check sc2 gears you find out that the account used to be named TopGirl, which is the account she streamed with on KR ladder a while ago when she used to stream. Earlier this year she was rank 8-15 ish masters but after changing her acc name almost nobody bothered to check so she went into gm without notice. And she also streamed NA GM back in season 5 or so and made a big deal about top 16 on facebook. So yeah, GM.

It's actually very easy to type Korean on your iPad, so idk what you're talking about there.....
But yeah, Aphrodite is obviously a GM player. There isn't any arguing it. I'm pretty confident MisS would easily be GM in NA, as many of the top females would. Like luway (taiwanese female pro) was rank 1 on NA GM at one point.

That is true, but sadly she was beaten by CreatorPrime in last Thursday's Asia Starcraft League round of 64. I really wanted to see her go on to Ro32 (Because she's on the same team as Sen, thus also representing a strong sense of Taiwanese national pride), but PvP is extremely cut throat and that night's group of 4 players had 3 protosses. PvP usually makes for a quick best of 3.
Would it be too much to ask if I could "get in on" the next Zowie Divina cup? Almost everyone in Taiwan knows that I'm the foreigner that casts Taiwanese events in English and EU Events in Chinese.
With all due respect, I had more followers than the channel that both of you guys were casting from as well. Adding to that, I am already excrutiatingly well-versed in the Taiwanese & mainland Chinese scene.

Yeah, unfortunately she hasn't been practicing as much recently, so she didn't have the opportunity she normally would. It would have been great to see her get past the tough group she was in.
Ender's is a good caster. I've watched his English and Chinese casts. Although I believe PM's are a better way to communicate your want to get in on the event rather than thread comments ;D
