I wanted to simulate a whole GSL, too, but there's no way to model the group selection ceremony.

I noticed that GOMTV uses Twitch and Own3d now, is this going to be the norm moving forward? This is good news for me since I can actually watch it now at work since I couldn't install GOM player before.

Mixing in a few vikings when you can afford to is a great move. Better spotting, and your opponent can't just drop your siegeline if your marines die off.
