Too bad he will hit the toss wall

Lol poor Idra just can't catch a break! Quite a few surprises elsewhere as well! Hoping for a Parting vs Duran final I think although there are a lot of other good possibilities as well.

Wow so Idra wins the group of the death, and his reward is playing Rain... nice.

Too bad he will hit the toss wall I think his TvP might be his best matchup, but the opponents are obviously crazy good. I'm more worried he'll hit the Zerg wall even before that.

Oh god dammit -__-'
That plus an auto Terran-kill by the next round, plus a brother-kill this round... interesting storylines.
Winner of IdrA vs. Rain to take the whole tournament ♥

GL Idra, i dun think he expected to be 1st in his group and meet Rain in round 16. Hope we dun have all Korean semifinal

You predict: winrate foreigner against koreans 0%. Protoss winrate 100%. (in matches)

I bet Blizzard is still mad at Idra for all his criticism of the game, and this is how they punish him.
But I have faith that if he wears the leather gracket, he can take it.

It sucks for Lucifron and Vortix. T.his is like some Day9 eliminating Tasteless at the WCG qualifiers or whatever shit

And Rain's pvp seems shaky... maybe Titan can score an upset who knows. Really can't see him going past Creator though

Pretty much agree with this, excepft for lowely beating suppy ( and losing in the next round), and Creator beating Rain ( and winning the tournament.

I definitely agree.
My line of thinking is: If IdrA just beat Rain (and surely Titan if he needs to), then fuck it, he might just beat Creator too. His ZvP would apparently be on fire. Rain's PvP is clearly not perfect (e.g., vs. BK yesterday), but we'll see how that goes. PvP can often go either way. I want either IdrA or Rain to win anyway ::shrugs:: Perhaps a bit of a biased call for me
I think Rain will beat IdrA though, and that's unfortunate given how awesome IdrA played yesterday.

Much more entertaining tournament than I anticipated. Wasn't expecting much but the games and the upsets were quite exciting. Now if only I could replace 3 players in the bracket with Korean Terrans of my choosing...

Jungwon Chae @GSL_Chae GSL 오픈시즌 개막전의 승자 IdrA !! Release the Gracken!

damn i'm stupid for going to bed right before stephano - idra thinking there wont happen anything anyway ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)
wont be able to catch many day2 games as well but the results tell me it must have been a interesting tournament so far and there'll be a lot to talk about afterward

Sun PvP shaky? Sun and Creator has the best PvP.
This just shows you how good Sun and Creator is in flipping coins.
Idra won't go through Sun. At best he can make it 1-3.
But Sun is gonna take it 3-0. Idra ZvP is pretty bad.
Creator and Sun will be close.
As for the other bracket, Parting should be able to WonWonWon way through his bracket.(Sadly, his wonwonwon got stopped by Sniper). But still think Parting can make it.
Parting will meet either Curious or Hero.
I think it will be a PvP finals. Parting vs By.Sun.
Rematch of WCS Asia.
