He looked like trash in his GSL games just a few days ago. defeated illusion even though illusion had a hidden base, and parting defeated him really easily too. the pvp was fairly one sided, but mostly socke made alot of mistakes and not using his opportunities. illusion in the other game was pretty strong but eventually just lost the engagements over and over until he was dead

Rain always just seems to beat Korean fellow Brotoss. The games always go the same... - Blink Stalker / Phoenix opening - Back and forth for a bit - Both players end up going tier 3 - Rain gets 8 Colossus then opts to go for more immortals - The 2 dance back and forth for awhile - Rain wins with superior positioning. This is how he won almost all of his PvP games in WCS Asia and Code S. edit/ On a side note, if Babyknight and Titan continue to do well, I wouldn't mind a Code S seed or even an Up and Down seed next season for GSL for them.

GSL is the toughest competition and players there is Code-S level. Of course Parting will look better in this tournament I mean look at his group(Illusion,Fenix and Socke). All ezpz for him.Games were quite one-sided

At best he can make it 1-3. But Sun is gonna take it 3-0. Idra ZvP is pretty bad. Creator and Sun will be close. As for the other bracket, Parting should be able to WonWonWon way through his bracket.(Sadly, his wonwonwon got stopped by Sniper). But still think Parting can make it. Parting will meet either Curious or Hero. I think it will be a PvP finals. Parting vs By.Sun. Rematch of WCS Asia. I think he meant that Rain's PvP looked shaky today . Which is sort of true if you compare it to his WCS Asia run.

I guess it's down to scarlett/suppy and the winner of brothers war to carry on the foreigner cause.

I'm really hoping he can keep his head in the game for the rest of the tournament, would love to see him go far!

Sun missing a forcefield and overextending at his level of play shouldn't really happened. But everybody makes mistake. Sun will definitely bring his A-game tomorrow.

I really would be surprised if it didn't end up as Parting vs. Rain/ Creator in the finals. But you do have some players who can cause those upsets (earlier PvPs like vs. BK, some ZvPs like Scarlett, etc.).

That run would match up against the hardest run of any player in a tournament including the GSL... Is this hype or is he actually playing this good? Haven't watched games yet.

Idra has alway struggled with vP so it doesn't look good. But who knows, anything can happen. I just mentioned it because generally, GSL champion runs are always the toughest in terms of opponent (although MLG, IPL are reaching that level due to the sheer number of Koreans). But since he won the groups of death. If he can win out, I think that run would be comparable.

He's really playing that good, at least in ZvZ. + Show Spoiler + 2-0ed Roro and 2-0ed Stephano, and he's been playing extremely solidly. One of only three players this tournament to get a 4-0.
