... maybe its just the pvp thats bothering me though :o

Yep same.
Also Tasteless calling just about every match, especially if it's the finals, the best match ever makes me sick.
I don't even know how you can keep saying crap like that. Well I know why he does it actually, it's just because he often doesn't know what there is left to talk about and during the finals some "best game ever hype" is better than "ask me a question Artosis!"

cause no way i'm calling parting best in the world for getting his ass kicked by polt/sniper a few days ago, then beat up some foreigners before pvp'ing the final for $100,000.

Eventhough this is the world championship but the person who win it doesn't have to be the best player overall.

Clearly the best player overall is Flash.

In this gsme ofc. Otherwise the best player overall would be Kasparov.

Honestly I would love to see what a very high ranking chess player (not necessarily top 20 in the world) can do in Brood War provided that he trains 8 hrs a day and gets his mechanics really strong.

Too bad that is infinitely less feasible now with the Korean Pro scene dying. ;_;

They could not do anything because they are too old for that. Hands too slow.

Three of the top 10 rated players in the world are 22 or younger.

you know who would be better at SC2 than a top 10 chess player? a top 10 SC2 player

How surprising. The question is, whether it is easier to become a good SC2 player, due having the tactical and strategical strengh, you gain through being a top chess player.

The strategy aspect of SC2 (dunno about BW) is highly overestimated so yeah really, being a good chess player won't help you much.

Do you have anything against Parting or you are Creator's fanboy? I have seen you posted about this topic repeatly. -_-"

I think he is more annoyed at the hype Tasteless and Artosis are currently doing.

and that's what they always do. I think everyone can just ignore it by now.

I specifically mentioned Brood War exactly because of this. 1A-ing not really an interesting concept for a chess player to understand, with regards to SC2. And I'll stop here hehe

About the n°1 rank and all, except you wanna remake all the tournaments in the world of any kind of sport or anything, you gonna have to stick with it...

When you win the world cup at football, you can lose your next 10 matches, you will still be n1 in the world, because you won something called " tournament for the n1 rank spot of the world", why does it have to be so much different for sc2?

The thing is called WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL after all..

Does anyone know if Tasteless is even playing the game anymore? His knowledge about the current tactics, builds and players in the game have declined so much lately.
