 Killer vs  RainGame 2 - Daybreak ZvP opening, Rain choosing robo, +1, 4 gateways and a warp-prism as his first moves. Killer scouted 4-gates and reacted by massing lings and getting +1/+1 upgrades. Rains attempt at aggression did nothing as his zealots were swarmed by lings. Rain took a third behind immortals and easily defended his building expansion against the lings of Killer. Blink and infestors were the next steps of the tech build-up. Rain continued his harass with the warp-prism while getting chage and colossi and Killer moved to Hive, spire and a fourth. Rain once again moved out for a 3-base attack before BLs, using his warp-prism to put Killer off his footing. For once, however, Rain had misjudged his timing and had to move back as the BLs of Killer moved into view. Instead Rain attacked with zealots at the main and fourth of killer at the same time as he once again moved in with his main base, killing lings and taking out the fourth and fifth. Rain looked in dominating position, but with insufficient anti-air, Killer beat back the army of rain with corrupters quickly eliminating the colossi. Killers next move cost him his army, however, as his attack towards the fourth of Rain underestimated the army of Rain, which cleaned up the rag-tag collection of a few BLs and infestors and lings. With that done, Rain established a fifth base and started mothership-production and preparation for an air-transition while keeping up his harass of tech and bases. Rain's air-production was scouted as Killer dropped lings in the main of Rain, and Rain quickly struck with 10 void-rays attempting to take out the main of Killer, saving the units with recall as Killer returned. As the armys built and the mineral depleted, it all seemed destined to end in a big fight to decide the map. It finally happened as Rain pushed against Killer and the army of Rain handedly defeated the corrupter, infestor & BL composition of Killer with storms, vortex, carriers and great control. Rain almost lost it to an overextension, but seemed in control and with plenty of options thorughout the game, finishing off by killing the unkillable army of zerg, 2:0 | ||
