Chinese national champion vs american Comm spawned in the bottom left of Daybreak, Suppy spawned in the top right. Both players opted to go for hatch first, with speed slightly faster for Comm. Suppy dropped a defensive baneling nest that successfully warded away Comm's speedling aggression. Both players went for spire straight after lair finished. Both players went for third bases as their spires finished. Suppy tries to snipe the third with speedlings and successfully kills it without a cancel. Suppy scouts his opponents mutalisks and starts +1 air armour, while fending off Comm's speedling pressure on his third base. Comm fails a mutalisk attack into the main, fails a speedling attack on the third, but managed to sneak in several speedlings into the main of Suppy. The speedlings managed to kill off a few drones but didnt do critical damage. Suppy's mutalisks were intercepted when leaving Comm's main, but Suppy's +1 air armour was too strong and killed off all of Comm's mutalisks. Comm gg's out. | ||
