sheesh was I the only one who actually enjoyed watching that game as it went on? Mech on whirlwind? Defending against mutas with mainly vikings (delaying thors like cray), killing the zerg with mainly unseiged tanks lol. One thing that made me scratch my head though was the way MKP defended his third. Instead of that supply depot wall, isn't it better to build a sim city that hugs the OC, with a tank/bunker behind it, Ryung style? Then again, that might be best against ling centric styles, roach/lling might pick off the stuff too easily. Maybe MKP was planning to sit a tank or two and a turret at the top of the ramp behind a depot wall but the constant pokes threw his plan off.

It's odd that Hack didn't do this against MKP, since MKP NEVER scouts. He obviously researched and saw that Yoda and Happy don't scout in TvT either. Maybe he was afraid of MKP's micro.

Well the game was typically Hyun, looks damn good but the steam will run out as soon as he transitions because of the low drone count. And I must say Hyun was pretty unlucky with the Roach into Ling punch, as Marineking rebuild a ton of Hellions. If it would have been a roach follow up Marineking would have probably lost his 3rd and 4th. But that way all his lings got melted as he didn't bother controlling any of the positions they where send to. And that way MKP could complete his hellion tank thor composition for an attack while the transition was running. Just a bad misready by Hyun at the end on how much damage he did. And a damn good intuition of MKP expecting a ling follow up and building Hellions.

Really ? Did you remember when Stephano won ESWC 2011 beating MKP so easily, MKP looked like a foreigner ? Well after that months of "Stephano isn't a top player ensued" even when almost all top koreans were saying he was. It may be a little far-fetched but I allow myself to be biased sometimes.
