They act like Life handed these 2 games to Flash, no plz, both two games are hard fought and Flash deserve the credits. They're not even Life fans. People just get obsessed with the most recent GSL champion all the time. It took months for people to realize that jjakji wasn't the next best thing since sliced bread, and there's been a lot of random winners since. Leenock or Bomber will be a better challenge for Flash anyway. Do not compare jjakji to Life or Seed. If you watched jjakji's run compared to Life's, you would not compare the two.
Maybe so, but if I watch jjakji's play in the actual finals alone though, it's still better than what I've seen from either of those two.

Life is good ZvT player but not good at ZvGod.

Let them all cheer. Life's had his taste now and the nerves will be gone the rest of the way. He's still got this.

I don't remember exactly, but the core of it was that - despite Flash's incredible apm - no click was ever wasted, and he moved with such exceptional structure and efficiency.
Fantastic to see it translating to SC2. Yeah in BW there are faster players, but he's so efficient. If people want an example from the SC2 players I think MKP is similar, a lower APM than you'd expect for such a micro heavy player.

Bomber's TvZ leaves much to be desired.

It's a theory of mine. Zergs require more APM, but it's the physical actions you need to perform - boxing bio/splitting and stutter-stepping that shuts your wrists down. I mean I'm a scrub, and it's playing Terran than wrecks my wrists. the majority of zerg apm is scrolling hatches and spitting and pressing s and any other letter and holding it till your larva/resources are up, this taxes nothing but shows up as a huge spike in apm
you realize it takes less time to queue up 10 eggs than 10 marines (assuming you don't hold the key down for marines)? you also have different buildings to select. it doesn't really make a difference in overall average apm.

For most part, that was not the briliance of Flash. Those were mistakes of Life.
I completely agree that there was a serious lack of criticism on Life's part, but personally I'm okay with it just because that crowd was going ballistic over Flash.
This is the kind of thing that SC2's been missing: something unusual, something fresh and interesting to spark excitement.
TB, despite not having been a SC1 fan or viewer, is probably the perfect guy to make people interested, and make them cheer and show their emotions over God's campaign.

People have been saying exactly that about Flash's victims for the past 2 years. Flash is one lucky son of a bitch.

The first game he lets 10 infestors die for no reason and the second game he was doing well until he had hive finished. So, in both games, when hive was finished Life would do something silly =/
I could be totally wrong since I believe MLG Dallas is the first time Life has competed outside Korea and it probably has taken its toll. Life made mistakes because Flash caused him to make mistakes. Not even considering the psychological aspect of playing the scariest starcraft player ever, but in-game, NONE of Life's counterattacks worked like it usually does against other orthodox terrans like Taeja. He was tilted the minute he switched to Ultras and they didn't work, and from there it's gg. Life is a great player but today Flash was the superior one.
That makes alot of sense. Thank you for such a well written reply!

"ok axlav, it's time for the performance replay. You have 40 seconds and you can only look at one scene in one of the replays. Should we call up the moment where life attack moves 10 infestors, and use that to highlight the entire series?"

hm, I am having terrible lag, it's pretty much unwatchable for me - I tried several browsers, tl and twitch, all resolutions - my internet is fine, anything else I could try? I had these problems with MLG specifically in the past, but last arena it all seemed to work...
