yet another day where Zerg has a negative win percentage when they make Broods...
I am really glad about Rain though, now Life has a free bye to his second championship :D.

He only beat MVP 4-3 and that last game was just a dumb mistake by MVP... Not even close to a free bye. Also so far this year both finalists of each season have never made it past the ro16 of the following season. While this looks like the season that that is most likely to be broken there were several other seasons where people thought last seasons champion and or second place were locks to get through and then didn't.

Life badly outplayed Mvp in almost every game. Mvp only won through blue flame cheeses and even lost after taking no damage from a 10 pool. Life is by far the better player and if they play again it should be a clean sweep. Life is totally different from past champions anyway. DRG, Mvp and Seed were hardly dominant throughout their campaigns while Life destroyed everyone in his path.

In the last game mvp overextended once and lost, while zerg just could open with a 10 pool without even falling behind. Even the drone kills didn't even matter. So I wouldn't say OMGGGG LIFe is so amazing, Mvp is amazing.

It's not just the champions. It's the second places too and even most of the people who got top 4. All of them got eliminated in ro16 or ro32 the season after they had their good run. It's really hard to have back to back deep runs in GSL. I also think it's hilarious that you call the blue-flame stuff cheese. It's pretty much guaranteed to do damage the only question is how much. MVP didn't get outplayed in any of the games. A lot of them were simple mistakes. In the second game for example if he doesn't let all his vikings get caught by fungal he should win with his pre-hive timing. There were lots of moments like that where he just made 1 mistake that basically doomed him.

Truth is MVP has figured Life out and had shown others how to beat Life. He won't be so scary this season.

And btw Blue flame is a very cheesy all in. You have to do a ton of damage or you die to the roach/muta follow up.

What? Life out macroed MVP? Really? Life only won the last game because MVP decided to randomly move out a section of his army to kill Life's 4th which then got surrounded and destroyed. Before MVP did that he had a huge advantage. If he just sits back and defends and then does a pre-hive timing when he maxes (aka what he did for every other game in the series) he wins game 7 and thus the finals.

I disagree. Mvp was never really far ahead at all. Yes, he could have defended but Life would have been on 5 bases and that pre-hive timing might have been non existent. Mvp's tanks were really late since he build a lot of Thors in case of mass mutas which didn't come. Mid game mech vs zerg always hinges on 2 things. 1) How much eco damage can your hellions do 2) What is the Thor/tank ratio as compare to the muta/roach ratio.

I would call BF a very aggressive build. It is like going mutas against bio/mech, your mutas need to do damage as well or you just get killed by the bio/tank push. BF also forces the zerg to be defensive and give the terran map control

He was at pretty much equal supply at a time when zerg normally has a big supply lead and he was on 4 bases while normally Terran is stuck on 3. MVP was already at 150 supply and the hive still had ~30 seconds to go. He would have had an extremely strong timing.
