University of Alabama Huntsville Student Run eSports, is happy to announce Curse, Inc. as
one of the sponsors of ChargerCon 2012. As an important player in the gaming community, the
company is determined to support independent local initiatives such as ChargerCon.

ChargerCon is a semesterly gaming convention that has been going on since 2007, and is
being ran as our first two day event. ChargerCon is an entirely student driven event that
is entirely FREE for entry! Over Friday and Saturday of October 26th and 27th, we will be
hosting multiple tournaments across many games, panel discussions from various people in the
immediate area, other companies, costume contests, and much much more!

We are aiming to bring this to the collegiate scene in not only the Alabama area, but the south
east in general, which is why UAH SReS is partnering with the South Eastern Star League to
help bring the best competition possible! Also, our University has given
us 100 single bed rooms for $15 a person per night for this event! We encourage competitors
who are traveling from a distance to contact us to get this arranged!

The Starcraft 2 tournament is being split into two different tournaments. 1 will be
recommended for masters and above to compete in with a $10 dollar entry fee. The other one
will be off limits to masters level players, and free for everyone to join. Prize pool for the “Pro”
level tournament will be split amongst the competitors in a 60/30/10% fashion. Tournament
play will begin promptly at 7pm on Friday night. The casual tournament will start about an hour
later, and will have some swag as the first place prize. Both tournaments will carry over into
Saturday.

BROOD WAR WILL BE HERE AS A FOR FUN TOURNAMENT!!
This tournament will start saturday at around 4pm, be open for the first 16 registrants. This
tournament is for fun and has no real prize attached to it. You CANNOT be currently in the sc2
tournament to be eligible to play in the Broodwar tournament.
