There's gotta be a Startale player there. I'm counting the days until they reveal one.

Who is jtymother? He won the qualifier.

Everyone in my sig should be invited. Though that would make it a teensy bit EG heavy.

Agree, after all this Riot drama and having recently picked up DotA2, it seems like the better choice.

There's a lot of money in LoL right now, I imagine that's a pretty big factor. Add to that the fact that a lot of big Tespa people have played LoL for years and that Scarra (a top level LoL player from Texas) is a friend of the organization. It makes a lot of sense to me.

is there actually that much money in LoL? as far as I can see, SC2 has better prize support (better distributed and more often rather than one fat tourney each year and a few small ones)

My understanding is Riot is super willing to drop cash on organizations. Also, the insane viewer numbers LoL draws are worth a lot.

Insane viewer numbers are nice, but does that actually translate into something besides ad revenue (for LoL)?

To all the haters: you deserve to witness many, many more Serral victories, worthy of the godlike player he is.
