They usually play better than that. Mid-tier foreginers or not.

I agree, but I don't necessarily think that saying it'd be okay for a diamond zerg to lose five hatches against a diamond protoss and still almost win the game. If you lose five hatcheries for free you should probably be in a pretty bad position IMO. fortunately ToD won that game at the end but I'm not sure how much the early damage had to do with that, but what do I know.

Mid-tier silver leaguers cancel their hatcheries.

I think Tod opened badly and ended well whereas Sheth openly alright and ended badly.

All yesterday he was getting stream sniped by a hacker, for what it's worth. It was really disheartening. He could barely play other games.
Not that that's an actual excuse for today's performance lol. But anyone who goes out of his way to be mean to Sheth is just a terrible person.

Sheth's Blords were way off position. A storm of broodlings would kill off the Templars after the first batch of storms. Plus the infestors were fighting in a choked up area and Sheth could only release infested terrans within two storm areas.

Sheth on a good day can take games off Koreans (look at his game against Rain in MLG), but he's been slumping recently, and this an example of that. Just terrible mistakes on both sides made it painful to watch that game.

Zerg out of money. Good for Thorzain.

Thorzain looks like he has won, Hawk was in a decent spot but rushed Ultras which didn't seem to be worth it.

ThorZaIN stays in LSC, faces Polt tomorrow.

Thorzain wins g3 with 115 drone kills ^^

ToD's early and mid game was very bad, so if you sit back and let your opponent take more bases than you, yeah you generally lose a macro game. It has nothing to do with the skill of players in that circumstance.

Thorzain was close to defeat there. Gotta say that Lucifron looks better these days.
