In order to make more than 8000$ at MLG, he would have had to finish 2nd or 1st ( http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_MLG_Pro_Circuit/Fall/Championship )...With players like Life, Rain, Leenock, Polt, TaeJa, Violet.. | ||

Not sure about the other leagues. Actually one time MLG did take a while to pay out, for Providence 2011 I guess it was because the prize money amount was so huge, I think FXOBoss said it took 2-3 months for Leenock to get his 50k. If the standard for payouts was 9 or 10 months then esports is a joke. | ||
