OSL is not as prestigious as GSL by a long shot.
GSL has the experience and infrastructure, and the OSL is just a battle of big names, it's not a demonstration of skill for the most part.
Also there were several players before him who were hyped for the royal road, think of squirtle, he had a far better record in season 2.

yah, its hard to imagine a world in which any of his matchups could be better than his pvt
his games vs taeja and polt in ro16 were incredible. arguably the best ive seen in the matchup in all of sc2.
