they don't make money from foreign audience.. it's already a pretty big deal to have english speaking casters they're wasting money on this you know ?

That isn't an excuse for those who paid their flagrant ripoff season pass.

Well, the official english stream is basically a massive pile of dicks, so there's that problem.

From the OGN staff: We are really sorry for today's streaming. We will rerun these matches tomorrow around 5pm KST.

GSL was BW, too, once. And there was drama, too. Mainly Kespas fault.
Anyway, I can understand that this is a bit annoying. But on the other hand, there is a ton of potential, not only the players but also the organization.

esport is meant to be enjoyed as an asian fetish in korean

it's like watching dubbed movies

lol indeed, but you know some people want english casting and a HD stream not one or the other.
so they are willing to pay for it.

Of course they don't make money with the way they're doing it, that's the point. They COULD make money off the foreign audience, just like GOM does, and have the korean audience on top of that, instead they hire Moletrap/Doa for no good reason. There's plenty of better casting duos who I'm sure would work for similar wages and be honored to cast OSL as whatever they are paying these two.

Are you sure they aren't trying to target the foreign audience from now on ? btw, this kind of bs won't help selling season passes on twitch.

okay.. auction stream lags every 2 seconds for around 10. vlc tells me bad URL, cant open. twitch stream is "offline".
what the fuck? -_-
edit: i cant even adjust the stream quality of the korean stream.. obviously my connection wont be able to stream it in HD.

i think they're not really after that kind of money (maybe its too small of a gain ?) they get money from tv ads
i'm pretty sure these two sources of income are of a very noticable difference in magnitude
