I'm a fan of kas and its really disappointing to hear that he would do such a thing ;( There are alot of players that would kill to be invited to tournaments. That's pretty consistent for this tournament series. Two of the other four tournaments semi-finals and finals had to be postponed because one or two of the participating Koreans didn't show up.

And while the whole forfeiting finals thing is disappointing it's fully within player rights to do so. It's the reputation of him as a player and that of his team should suffer - especially since it's not the first HotS tournament Kas abandons due to pokerstrategy league. Arbitrary money rearrangements because the audience was not entertained will not lead to anything good.

Well adding a line to tournament rules that forfeiting a match means forfeiting the price money would do the trick.
