It's just that you almost automatically lose against proxy marauder if you don't scout it in time.

Same as Nerchio, Stephano won a lot of go4sc2 and matches online but didn't show up in lans because he was too young (school and stuff prevented him from attending overseas lans). So some players thought that Stephano used maphack or streamhack or whatever.

they probably just confused the fact that Stephano never scouted in ZvP and won every game and thought it was hacking. it turned out Stephano didn't need to scout and could beat every 2-base protoss all-in with just an overlord looking at the 3rd and 4th gas.

Stephano's road to the finals does not seem to be very bumpy, I think he can take down both ForGG and TheSTC with ease. Also, his win vs Vortix from WCS puts him in a good spot in case of zvz semis...
I think it's about time for the EG curse to kick in
