ClouD not checking if ForGG went for a third before attempting this risky drop.

On a side note, there is no losers bracket either.

Dreamhack tends to run without both loosers and losers brackets.

its really sad, violet couldve gone far if he didnt loose to vortix

Did they ever really travel a lot though? If you take a look at who went where it's almost always a trip paid by the organizer, most Korean players go to MLG because their flight and accommodation is paid for if they make it into groups.

IPL4, IPL brought the entire Prime and Startale teams to play in the GSTL finals which led to an insane number of Korean players in the open bracket.

I guess so. I would love to see Startale/LG-IM start sending more players around if they can increase there sponsorship deals.

Startale and MVP (The team) have been very active in the foreign scene for quite a while IM seems fairly uninterested in foreign tournaments on the whole.

IM has played in ( in 2012 )

MLG: Winter Arena, Spring Arena 2, Summer Arena, Summer Championship
TSL4
Iron Squid
IPL4
IPL TAC3
IEM Colonge
Homestory cup 5

I might have missed something. It's pretty active participation imo.

Also, we see a lot of Koreans in foreign tournaments whenever they fall out / don't get into the GSL. Losira for example has been to a LOT of foreign events.

Compared to startale and MVP they're pretty inactive, they only like to attend what they qualify rarely trying out open brackets.

So glad to see Nightend using hallucinations, still quite underused by protoss. He will know everything that Stephano does with both observer and hallucinated phoenixes, hopefully this will give us a interesting lategame scenario.

only real startale player to go everywhere really is bomber, sure, squirtle and parting and ace did go to some, but not as much as for example IM which always sends players to MLG

Heck, I remember even Nestea and Mvp being in the open bracket in foreign tourneys at least twice.

Losers bracket is for losers. We're here to crown the bestest winner!

So Vortix won? Damn, that's not bad.

I remember that a few MVP players did come to dreamhack on the back of that MYM deal but I rarely see Startale players at foreign events or am I missing something?

Squirtle and Parting went to IPL4 and that Red Bull thing but I think that's it...
