Winning a GSL depends almost as much on luck as it does on skill. Luck in getting the right MUs, luck in your opponent maybe not sleeping well the night before, luck in a lot of things. You don't actually have to be the best in the world to win a GSL.

I thought the matches in this group consolidated the hype of Taeja. He is indeed very good. And also, these results says that Sun is very good also, maybe even better than Taeja. And that's the most meaningful findings for this group. I think people can still say Taeja is the best terran right now.

You don't refer to their sc2 play. 'Achievements' mean fuck all, what matters is how well they're actually playing. JD hasn't been playing great in awhile.

If he meets Taeja again in the RO8 I might break a wall ![]() The way he is playing right now - I think HerO will take first. But it's so hard to say. And would rather have a guaranteed Liquid member in the top four, or the possibility of half of the top four being Liquid?

Interesting that he never watched San play but derived it from an entirely different train of thought. I think it is just the love and habit of high templars inherited from BW playstyle. Every base with 2 high templars and couple canon to defend, it is exactly the same as in BW PvZ pro level. Of course, Bio terran in SC2 is kind of like zerg in BW, running around trying to snipe some free stuff.

You lose 1 match, qualify for the next round anyways, and suddenly you don't stand a chance of winning GSL? Wow... lol. Look at the past winners. I bet a lot of them came out 2nd in their group stages at some point. Rain MIGHT be better in PvT than Taeja is currently in TvP but that does not mean he wont win GSL anyways.

Yeah, thats why he went 4-0 against Flash in their last 4 matches in the Proleague Finals and OSL Semfinals. Oov was gone in the military at this time. Flash had the better career in BW obviously, but towards the end Fantasy was superior. It wasnt just the coach, just look at Canata and Ssak.

Fantasy was only superior only with them both playing two games and whereas skt had the luxury of resting fanta in a week leading up to the osl, flash had to prepare for the spl and osl. Fantasy still won of course but the conditions Was a bit obsecure. Flash did choke big time in spl finals though..
