I don't know, but it is IPL and they usually run their stream pretty close to 24/7, so I'm sure there will be some rebroadcast going on.

what -_- said is also true. Don't forget we have a frat house and 0 training schedules so obviously we don't practice. Additionally there are rumors that AG threatens to sue it's players for everything and girls+dogs = no training.

having nothing better to do, I went through every IPL TAC3 LR thread where EG played.

In six matches for EG, iNcontroL posted in the LR thread exactly once, that being in the series where he made his sole appearance (a loss to Crazymoving vs iS).

Ergo, the following conclusions are possible:

A) EG won the series
B) iNcontrol has officially taken on more duties as team publicist
C) EG actually played iNcontroL against Liquid.

take your pick.

Does this mean it is not possible that iNcontroL played AND EG won the series?
I had a good night of sleep.

Teamtaeja?

Its an allkill format and Taeja is clearly the best player of both teams.
For second best, you could make arguments for HerO or Stephano.
EG has more topclass depth, but for an allkill format, it doesnt look too bad for TL.

I would like to draw your attention to the right sidebar of this website, specifically the part with top 5 Elo ranks. No, not the left one, the relevant one.

ELO in an argument? Really?
I don't know if I'd rate Hero as worse than Stephano, but I would certainly give Stephano a massive edge over Hero in a head to head.

Make that a slight edge, and only because Stephano's managed to take some wins off of him during the worst PvZ period in Hero's career, and it would be a reasonable estimation. Besides, it wasn't a head-to-head argument as they may not end up playing each other anyway.

I think liquid will come out with a 5-3 win. Taeja is just too good right now, he has looked super strong with no real sign of letting up. His worst match up is TvP (according to him). EG has no reall toss to take him down. JYP is a great toss but has had week PvT. Though it is Taeja weekest match up he still looks fantastic. As long as the toss is not from IM Taeja should win. On EG the ace player has to be Stephano and rightfully so. But I don't think his being on EG's line up will help them vs liquid.  If you look at his best and worst match ups his ZvP is one of not the best in the world. But liquid only has two Protoss only one of which would be playing; HerO and he is not liquids ace. This is where i believe issues start to arise, Stephano has good even great ZvT, but Taeja has the best TvZ in the world and possible the best TvZ is the history of Starcraft 2. And against that great just isn't good enough. At the last MLG stephano only played two ZvT games and while he won both and looked good he went 4-2 vs Heart. Heart is not the best Terran play around and he showed some weekends vs Terran. In stephano credit he did 2-0 TheSTC. Taeja on the other hand lost only 1 game vs a Zerg that weekend. Finally there is stephano  achilles' heel ZvZ. At the last MLG he lost every ZvZ he played and only won one game in the process. This is a trend for him in NASL he only lost one series to zenio 0-2. Liquid is a very Zerg heavy team with two very good zergs that are good at ZvZ at that. Ret and zenio. While neither are favored it's not the far-fetched to see them winning. Liquid also has TLO and Sheth and while it would be a very long shot its not entirely outside the realm of possibility. Without the aces (stephano, Taeja) I think liquid has a little bit stronger of a team. But with the aces I think liquid will just win. The score being 5-3 or 5 when Taeja starts to play.

Sooooo stoked for this goddam match!
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

Fair enough, I was just disappointed with whipping out korean ELO for comparison, I thought there was a gentlemen's agreement that ELO really doesn't mean anything in SC2.

I see EG has the best chance ever of beating Liquid, but it doesn't mean they're favored here. Taeja should just finish the job whatever happen. Stephano will likely be sniped by Zenio, Sheth or TLO. I mean, Stephano is good, but almost the entire Liquid lineup could snipe him in a Bo1. it's a zerg team + Taeja and Hero, so ya.. would be tough for Stephano to do too much damage. JYP could be the key player here, depends on when he's sent. He would lose to Taeja, but he's favored against the rest of the team.

According to TL Pro, the starters are Zenio vs Demuslim, so Zenio isn't a sniper.

Just saw Geniuses Falling, and now I'm hyped as fuck for tonight's match.

Yeah, giving HerO's self admitted weakness in PvZ and recent results I would give Stephano the advantage in a direct duel. HerO is at the moment simply an strong Code S player what makes him look extremly dangerous. I'd actually see outside of Stephano no player on EG who he should not beat. His PvT is delicious. And he said himself that he is confident in his PvP and his direct record against JYP speaks for HerO.
But honestly if we get HerO vs Stephano and TaeJa can still play I almost hope for Stephano to win simply to see TaeJa vs Stephano. And I am saying that as a massive HerO fan.

Demu could beat Zenio but they are both very inconsistent players and it really could go either way. If Zenio falls TL won't be screwed but I think if Demu loses EG will be in a really rough spot.
