You can view it that way, but he still has the record for most code S (The other contender, NesTea, won an open season, which is not code S either if you view it like that), and overall he also has the championship record for GSL if you count all. Besides, talking about "code S" only is sorta redundant anyway, noone ever does that, hell, you get a pin for all of them regardless, so...

Nah he literally said MVP didn't have the record because of MMA. He does, any way you want to view it he has the record. The semantics is one thing, but Tasteless was clearly talking about something else.

Tbh, I don't know why they count the world championship as a GSL, considering it was a 16 man invitational where half the players were of a much lower level than the others. Seems pretty silly to be honest.
Agreed. Personally I consider Super Tournament like a GSL because the level was code S level. The World Championship was clearly not.
