It is pretty well explored, just not v BLs. You only really see mech vs Ultras.
Making 20 mutas when there are 6-9 thors in the Terran mech ball is not cost effective. If he had spent those resources differently the rest of the game might have gone his way.
He misread the situation. Leenock wasn't expecting heavy Thor army, so he was hoping to get rid off Anti-air completely during engagement so his Mutalisks would have had free reign.

Hours on end? First has played a total of 2 matches today. TaeJa has played 4. Leenock 2, etc etc.. All of them Bo3s. They play more in a single night of GSL group stages, and these are the quarterfinals + of a "Championship" tournament with multiple qualifiers and important seeding.

Yep to be honest, the foreigner scene needs some kind of "GSL" tournament" instead of LAN parties.
Problem is that the foreigner scene is on two different continents, and a lot of different countries. So a GSL style of tourney has to be online, of which there are several (NASL, TSL etc).

I thought if you magic box them perfectly, mass mutas are actually cost effective against mass Thor when on equal upgrades?
