The 'best player in the world' assertions after a month of incredible play are, admittedly, pretty silly and I imagine where that's where most people's frustration comes from rather than Taeja's play itself.

He hasn't been doing too good atm, so I tihnk thats why alot of his games wern't streamed earlier. Nah its probably because EG payed MLG to stream a shit ton of useless Idra games instead of games that people would actually enjoy and like to watch >_>. Oh god damn it MLG you really have to put Taeja vs CranK on at the same time as WCS finals >_< Lol, I was just contemplating this earlier. I wonder... Believe it or not, Idra is what people want to see. They are catering to the mass audience. Nope, that's what you want to believe.

Yes he was. no real way to prove that Mvp wasnt doing really well until his latest tournament win. Remember him at HSC? yeah Mvp went into a slump after winning GSLs2 and just came back, Taeja was definitely playing better at the time. But that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. He was in a slump all year until GSLs2 and then was in a slump after GSLs2 lol It really doesn't matter, 99% of pros would kill to have the success Mvp has during his " slumps " the fact that he keeps coming back to win tournaments after people count him out is what is amazing. I mean the guy has been winning GSL's since January 2011 and he's still winning premier tournament as of a week ago. you are absolutely right. In the end it is about winning big tournaments and MVP has that edge over everyone. He just finds ways to get it done.

And it's not like Taeja hasn't won tournaments So one series decides who's the better player? Come on. It's not the first time this happens. A player wins a couple of foreign torunaments and suddenly he's the best player in the world. Um that's how you determine who is best at a given point. If Andy Murray is entering all these non Slam tournies and smashing Djoker and Fed and Nadal 6-2 6-3 6-2 constantly, winning most things, would he not be considered the best in the world? Is he not playing the best in the world? Point to a player that would be doing better than him, if you can't that person is the best player in the world at that given moment. That's how it works. Starleagues determine legends, but they do not determine who is playing the best in the world at every given second.
