I think in terms of playing style, TaeJa is actually doing quiet some mistakes or very risky moves. Not taking away any credit from his brilliant mechanics but I feel he's playing a constant gamble. His information when playing is as much as you can get really, but the way he puts aggression on the Protoss is basically nothing but him being in the head of his opponent.
Are 5 marines going to post a threat to a nexus first Protoss? Not really, no. You should be afraid he is not going to chronoboost his 2 gateways or even worse, going to go 4 or 5 gate p ressure after his initial nexus. I really feel against some Protoss on the ladder this style would just not work out as good. Ofcourse his superior mechanics would carry him, but as you could see in for example TSL against Bischu on Metropolis, sometimes a gamble really doesn't pay off.
I feel like TaeJa basically already won the game because he is TaeJa. He worked hard for this psychological advantage, but there is absolutely no reason to be afraid in the early game more than against another Terran. Ofcourse his execution of builds is better, but even TaeJa can't make 5 marines worth 20. Also in the bigger battles, I think he's winning by excellent control. Its absolutely amazing how he focus fires and moves parts of his army, knowing absolutely how units will react and fire by heart, absolute beautiful to watch.

Simply from looking at the play, especially the unit control, for example MKP and MMA have always looked more impressive to me than MVP.
It just proves that there is much more to starcraft 2 than unit control.

If Andy Murray is entering all these non Slam tournies and smashing Djoker and Fed and Nadal 6-2 6-3 6-2 constantly, winning most things, would he not be considered the best in the world? Is he not playing the best in the world? Point to a player that would be doing better than him, if you can't that person is the best player in the world at that given moment. That's how it works. Starleagues determine legends, but they do not determine who is playing the best in the world at every given second. So is Crank better than Taeja?
